Argue hard. Play fair.

Kuralok hosts strong opinions on hard topics. These rules exist so the fight stays worth watching.

01 Attack ideas, not people

Dismantle an argument as thoroughly as you like. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Harassment, threats, hate against a group, doxxing, and personal attacks aimed at a writer rather than their writing are removed, and the account that posted them is suspended or permanently removed. Coordinated targeting of a writer — across entries, in comments, or through mass reporting — is treated as a single, serious offence by everyone taking part.

We do not run a three-strikes system. The first personal attack is acted on, and where it is deliberate or severe the account goes on the first offence. Every decision is made by a person, logged, and open to appeal at [email protected].

02 No incitement

Advocacy of violence against people or groups has no place here, however strongly the underlying opinion is held. Threats are not arguments. There is no anonymous exception.

03 Never unmask anyone

Guessing, hinting at, or revealing the identity behind an entry is a serious violation. Doxxing of any kind — of writers or commenters, named or masked — ends an account.

04 Anonymity is not impunity

Every anonymous post still belongs to an account, and every rule still applies to it. The mask protects you from your audience — it does not protect abuse from moderation.

05 Write it yourself

Publish only what you have the right to publish. Plagiarism, reposted content, and spam are removed. Quote generously, credit always.

06 Reports go to a human

Every report is reviewed by a person within 24 hours. Content that breaks the rules is removed and the account that posted it is ejected. Not a threshold, not a bot: nothing already public is hidden by a report count or an algorithm, so a crowd can never silence a writer. Before anything is public, two things happen. New writers' first entries are read by a person before they appear, and a keyword screen holds or refuses objectionable language before publication. Established accounts publish instantly and keep that standing by keeping these rules. And you always have three tools of your own: report any entry, comment or writer, block any writer, and hide any entry from your feed at once. How each one works is on the Safety page.
